BHM carried out the feasibility studies and later acted as architects for the Hammersmith Academy to increase The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham’s secondary education places.

The site was challenging, with little external space other than a multi-use games area.  In response to this the academy accommodation, including the sports hall, was housed over four floors. BHM Architects worked with the School to design both the curriculum and building around the lack of external recreation space which affected agreements using other local school’s facilities.
